In today’s world of economic globalisation, expatriation is increasing and has now become a major issue for international companies. For expatriate and multi-country healthcare plans, several currencies are used: the currency used to define the level of cover, the currency used for payment of premiums, the currency of the member’s or provider’s expenses, the currency used for reimbursement and even the currency used to report the technical and financial aspects of the plan.
